Casey Fattig, PT, DPT, CSCS, CPT
Owner & Lead Trainer
I was born and raised in Lake Jackson, TX, and P90X workouts (thanks Tony Horton) one summer in high school were my first introduction to health and fitness. After high school, I completed a mechanical engineering degree at Texas A&M, but found myself often preferring to work out or research health and fitness topics rather than do engineering school work. After graduation, I worked up the courage to make a career change, sacrificing job security and pay to pursue what I am truly passionate about, first as a personal trainer for a year, then completing my doctorate in physical therapy at Texas Woman's University. Despite my satisfaction in this new profession, I encountered limitations within the existing medical framework that hindered my ability to fully assist my patients. I knew most of them would benefit from more consistent exercise, nutrition counseling, and other simple lifestyle changes...many of the things I provided for clients as a personal trainer before transitioning into physical therapy. I aspired to concentrate on doing the things that would provide the fastest and greatest benefit for each of my clients...and something where I could focus on the whole person, not just one facet of their health. Driven by this vision, my wife and I established Woodlands Home Fitness, LLC, with the aim of offering a comprehensive approach to health and wellness to our clients.
My guiding principles with all my clients are:
